"Spring in Cornwall is full of excitement, with the weather changing, the days getting lighter. The water becomes more and more enticing with every day that passes. This piece is inspired by one such day, standing on the shoreline with my toes in the water, debating whether it is time to get back into the water. Time to let the waves wash over me and to dive into the deep blue depths…

I have used sea salt and sand in the eco acrylic paint to build the depth in the gradually building wave and fine poska pen to add the fine detail in the white water."
