For three generations Mourne Textiles master-weavers have produced the mid-century visions of Norwegian design pioneer and founder, Gerd Hay-Edie.

Mourne Tweed was First Woven in 1964 and sold by the Hille furniture company as part of their homeware collection.

Today the Mourne Tweed blanket has been carefully reproduced using a combination of luxurious Merino yarns, custom spun in Donegal on the West coast of Ireland in accordance with the original colour ways.
