Lyndsey Vowell at The Headland Hotel and Spa
Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Cornish coastline, Lyndsey uses her contemporary style to capture and create paintings that are unique and inspiring. Born and raised in Cornwall, Lyndsey now lives in the stunning seaside town of Falmouth where the ever changing light, sky and sea ignites her passion for painting.
Often using acrylic paints, her confidence to explore other mediums and experiment with different techniques truly brings each painting to life with its atmospheric style.
Although Lyndsey studied Fine Art and Design, she considers herself self-taught in the terms of the skills and processes she has developed over the last 16 years. When she left college, she went on to develop a career in bespoke design and furnishings for a well established home interiors company, helping clients within their homes choose design and colour schemes. Quite often to compliment their existing piece of art ensuring flow, longevity and contrast to create an individual aesthetic to private clients, hotels and other businesses alike, meeting clients in their own space or on site.
Lyndsey went on to manage an art gallery in the busy high street of St. Ives as well as working one on one with artists, meeting many clients and helping them choose the right piece of art for their home. She saw the importance of how sentimental and valuable buying a piece of art is, helping each buyer find something that will boost their wellbeing, a forever purchase and most of all an emotional investment. Lyndsey knew she had something distinctive to offer of her own and set off on a new adventure showing her creative style.
Lyndsey has had an overwhelming response to her solo exhibitions with celebrity collectors such as the critically acclaimed Stephen Graham and partner Hannah Walters as well as selling internationally across the globe.
Following on from that Lyndsey was recently commissioned by The Headland Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall, working alongside interior designers Lomax & Chi to create original paintings for the stunning new ocean suites.

Commissioning a painting is a very rewarding and special experience for both the artist and client.
With Lyndsey's experience and expertise in home interiors Lyndsey will work with you every step of the way, offering help and guidance to make sure your new piece of art brings you joy, happy memories and flows beautifully in your home. Lyndsey will keep you fully informed and involved through the entire process, ensuring it's a worry free, easy and most of all, enjoyable experience.
It is a wonderful way for Lyndsey and the client to collaborate, reflecting her style and capturing your preference and personality, creating a unique piece of art that you can cherish for many years to come. Lyndsey will work from photo's provided by yourself or she can offer a free home consultation locally. An additional service is available for further afield, this can be arranged privately via email.
Once the client and artist have agreed on the details of your commission, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required and a final 50% is payable upon completion of the artwork. When payment is secured, it will be safely shipped to you.
